President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the decree «On additional measures for the development of the tourism industry with strict observance of the requirements of the enhanced regime of sanitary and epidemiological security».
ince August 1, the «open sky» regime is introduced at the airports of Andijan, Bukhara and Urgench, providing for the lifting of restrictions on the number and directions of flights.
Foreign airlines will be able to fly to these airports, whether or not intergovernmental agreements on air services are in place (the condition is that the companies must meet ICAO standards).
In particular, foreign companies flying to airports with «open air» will be set the same tariffs as domestic companies use.
Under the Regulation, should the category (level of service) be maintained from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2023, 50 per cent of the amount recovered for these categories will be returned to the hotels.
Part of investors’ costs for the construction and development of cable roads will be reimbursed from the Tourism Support Fund in the amount of SUM 1 billion (only 50 first projects or until 31 December 2023).
From 1 July 2020 to 1 July 2023, private museums, galleries and craft centres will pay 50 per cent of the income tax, land tax and sales tax.
The services of a guide-interpreter and a tour guide are included in the list of activities (services, works) which self-employed persons may engage in.
From 1 July 2020 to 1 July 2023, income, property and land tax and turnover tax rates for the main activities of non-governmental (private) museums, art galleries and craft centres will be reduced by 50 per cent.
