The delegation of Uzbekistan held fruitful bilateral negotiations in Italy

Yesterday, the visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan to Italy, headed by the Special Representative of the President for Foreign Policy, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President Abdulaziz Kamilov, ended, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

During the visit, on January 29 – February 2, meetings were held with Minister Plenipotentiary, Diplomatic Adviser to the President of Italy Fabio Cassese, Diplomatic Adviser to the Prime Minister Francesco Talo, Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto, Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Edmondo Chirielli and other officials of the Italian government.

Also during the visit, bilateral talks were held with Qu Dongyu, Director General of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Alvaro Lario, President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and Riccardo Sessa, Vice President of the Italian Society of International Organizations.

During the events, the wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, trade and investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres was discussed.

There was also an exchange of views on regional and international security.
