On May 26, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ilhom Makhkamov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to our country, Ms. Orelia Bouchez, and representatives of the “ALSTOM” company.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mrs. Orelia Bouchez highly appreciated the current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and France. The head of our state, recognizing the pace of reforms carried out in the social and economic spheres of our country, noted that French companies are interested in direct participation in projects implemented in these processes.
During the conversation, the ongoing reforms and projects to develop the public transport system and infrastructure in the cities of our country were discussed.
During the meeting, representatives of “ALSTOM” made a presentation on ongoing projects to establish and maintain the rail transport system in cities.
