Since the beginning of the year, Tashkent has opened the most enterprises and organizations in comparison with other regions of the country

A total of 34,223 enterprises and organizations were established in Uzbekistan in January-April.

Goskomstat clarifies that these data are given without taking into account farming and dekhkan farms.

The top five leaders in terms of the number of newly created enterprises include the city of Tashkent (5326), Samarkand (4506), Kashkadarya (2985), Ferghana (2874) and Andijan (2588) regions.

The other seven areas and the Republic of Karakalpakstan come by a small margin from each other:

Tashkent region – 2582

Namangan region – 1969

Khorezm region – 1935

Surkhandarya region – 1831

Dzhizak region – 1821

Bukhara region – 1758

Navoi region – 1633

Republic of Karakalpakstan – 1437

The exception is the Syrdarya region, the number of newly created organizations and enterprises in which amounted to only 978.
