A delegation of investors from Pakistan and South Korea is visiting Uzbekistan from April 21 to 28 as part of a practical visit aimed at developing investment cooperation, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The delegation consists of representatives of the Pakistani company “Habib Rafiq (Pvt.) Limited” and several South Korean companies, including “AKS Information”, “Halla Engineering”, “Seoha Engineering and Construction”, “Office for Civic Solutions”, and “Samoo CM”. It is led by Malik Muhammad Aslam, CEO of “Habib Rafiq (Pvt.) Limited”.<\/p>\n

During a meeting with Uzbek Ambassador Alisher Tukhtayev on the eve of their departure, the parties discussed the organization of the visit, as well as promising investment projects in various regions of the country. The Uzbek side presented information on the large-scale reforms being implemented under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, particularly in construction and infrastructure, as well as the favorable conditions created for investors.<\/p>\n

The visit includes talks with representatives of ministries and agencies, as well as meetings in Tashkent, the Khorezm region, Karakalpakstan, and Samarkand.<\/p>\n

Projects under consideration include the construction of a modern data center in Karakalpakstan, the “New Uzbekistan” residential complex in the Khorezm region, a multi-story residential complex in Samarkand, the creation of a tourist hostel on the grounds of the Imam al-Bukhari complex in the Payarik district, and the development of new residential communities in the “New Tashkent” district.<\/p>\n

The delegation will also tour historical monuments and museums across the country.<\/p>\n

It was noted that the visit will be an important step in expanding mutually beneficial trilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and South Korea in investment, construction, digital technology, urban development, and tourism.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
