Through Samarkand, Bukhara, and Tashkent, not only goods flowed, but also ideas and knowledge, cultural and religious traditions were enriched. Therefore, openness has always been not a choice for us, but a vital necessity and a civilizational code,&#8221; said the President of Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n<p>After analyzing the key areas of the Uzbek-Russian strategic partnership and alliance, the head of state emphasized the qualitative development of trade and economic cooperation, interregional interaction, industrial cooperation, and partnership in the energy sector.<\/p>\n<p>To expand technological and industrial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia, an initiative has been put forward to form a &#8220;Eurasian Belt of Technological Industrialization&#8221; \u2013 a system of interconnected production clusters united by a single digital platform.<\/p>\n<p>Digitalization, which creates jobs, logistics, payment services, and new export opportunities, was also identified as a promising area of \u200b\u200bcooperation.<\/p>\n<p>It was proposed to begin developing a Joint Digital Ecosystem, which could include the convergence of regulations governing digital commerce and urban services, the further promotion of Uzbek and Russian brands<br \/>\non mutual platforms, the creation of a unified digital employment profile, and the development of products based on artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>Considering that Uzbekistan is one of the youngest countries in the world, an initiative was put forward to create a joint online platform for human capital development with the goal of linking education, vocational training, and the labor market.<\/p>\n<p>To strengthen the cultural and humanitarian dimension of cooperation, it was also proposed to launch a creative tourism corridor project, &#8220;From Samarkand to St. Petersburg,&#8221; which would involve organizing joint art and film festivals, museum exhibitions, gastronomic weeks, and musical events.<\/p>\n<p>The key achievements of systemic economic reforms were separately presented to the plenary session participants.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ten years ago, we began building a New Uzbekistan, focusing on openness, inclusiveness, and pragmatism. During this time, a solid foundation for long-term growth has been established: a favorable business environment, a sustainable industrial base, and new infrastructure,&#8221; the head of state said.<\/p>\n<p>It was emphasized that one of Uzbekistan&#8217;s key advantages is its young, active, and rapidly growing population\u2014a long-term foundation for the development of entrepreneurship, technology, services, and industry.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the achieved growth must be not only rapid but also sustainable, inclusive, and focused on improving people&#8217;s quality of life.<\/p>\n<p>The consistent development of conditions for the influx of global investment through the creation of a favorable business climate, the improvement of market institutions, and the growth of competition and production potential was noted.<\/p>\n<p>Forum participants were invited to utilize the special legal and tax regime of the newly established Tashkent International Financial Center and to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum from June 16-18 of this year.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, the head of our state once again emphasized that open dialogue is now becoming the key to sustainable development, and new opportunities arise where there is trust, a willingness to cooperate, and a desire to work together to find solutions.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 5, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended and addressed the plenary session of the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, held in St. Petersburg, the press service of the head of our state reports.
