The Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade visited industrial enterprises and reviewed the implementation of investment projects in Samarkand city and Pastdargom district

On July 2, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akram Aliyev visited industrial enterprises and reviewed the implementation of investment projects in Samarkand city and Pastdargom district during his working trip to the Samarkand region, the press service of the MIIT reports.

The first stop of the program was the waste processing project being implemented by Shanghai Sus Environment in Samarkand.

The delegation then visited the Alfathermplast project in Pastdargom district, which manufactures polyethylene pipes and fittings. In addition, an open dialogue was held with entrepreneurs in the Kimyogarlar settlement who had encountered issues related to changes in land classification.

The visit also included a review of several other projects: Samplasservis – aluminum profile manufacturing; SMKS – coal storage and sorting; Kenno Special Vehicles – production of houses using monolithic and steel structures; and Central Asia Automotive Factory – assembly of pickup trucks, cargo trucks, and minibuses under the Foton brand.

Following the visits to the production facilities, the concerns raised by entrepreneurs were discussed during an open dialogue. Responsible officials were instructed to ensure the prompt resolution of the identified issues and the effective implementation of the investment projects.
