The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade held a meeting with a delegation of the Qatari company Al Alfia Holding

On 13 August, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with a delegation of the Qatari company Al Alfia Holding, led by Zainab Al-Yusuf, Special Representative of the company’s management, the press service of the MIIT reports.

The parties discussed expanding the company’s presence in Uzbekistan, advancing the initiatives under consideration to the implementation stage, and launching new projects.

Priority areas included the localization of lubricants and chemical products using local raw materials and modern technologies, as well as the establishment of production of wellhead equipment for oil and gas wells.

Special attention was also given to projects in New Tashkent, including real estate, commercial and hotel infrastructure, as well as logistics facilities.

Following the meeting, the parties outlined further steps to advance the identified areas, exchange technical and project information, and promote new Uzbek-Qatari investment initiatives.
