The presentation of the upcoming IV Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF) was held in the capital of India on June 10-12, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan held a business dialogue in one of the largest organizations of Indian industrialists and entrepreneurs – the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHD CCI).
The event was attended by the heads of more than 50 companies that are members of this structure.
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Sardor Rustamboyev made a speech about the results of large-scale reforms carried out in our country in recent years in all spheres of socio-economic life, the favorable environment created for entrepreneurial and industrial activities, as well as about the attractive conditions, preferences and benefits provided for fruitful cooperation with foreign companies and representatives of business circles.
During the business dialogue, detailed information was presented on the significant role of the annual Tashkent International Investment Forum in the process of investment cooperation with Uzbekistan. In particular, special attention was paid to the importance of the favorable platform created within the forum for discussing promising areas and projects, direct contacts in G2B and B2B formats, as well as other opportunities for bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
PHD CCI President Hemant Jain highly appreciated the level of trade and economic cooperation between India and Uzbekistan, which has been developing dynamically in recent years, and emphasized that members of the chamber will take an active part in the upcoming Tashkent International Investment Forum.
The participants of the event watched with great interest a video dedicated to the prospects of investment cooperation with Uzbekistan.
According to the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan, a delegation of more than 100 Indian entrepreneurs is expected to arrive in the capital of our country to participate in the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum. They will discuss the prospects for partnership in the fields of energy, textile industry, pharmaceuticals, information technology, education and other areas.
