Modern agricultural machinery “Nasaf” is being assembled in Karshi

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the FM World enterprise in Karshi, the press service of the head of our state reports.

The enterprise is part of Jiangsu World Group, which is among China’s 500 largest private companies.

The $20 million project was implemented entirely with foreign investment. The enterprise occupies a five-hectare site, including 12,000 square metres of production facilities. It has created 200 jobs, and some production processes have been automated.

The enterprise currently assembles five tractor models, cotton harvesters, and other agricultural machinery under the Nasaf brand. The tractors are equipped with GPS navigation and autopilot systems, while fertiliser application and monitoring are carried out remotely. This enables fieldwork to be performed with high precision while reducing fuel consumption and the use of other resources.

The enterprise also regularly provides training on the maintenance of machinery in the field, early detection of malfunctions, and the safe operation of equipment.

The localisation rate for tractor assembly stands at 30 per cent. The enterprise manufactures 138 types of parts and components in-house. The importance of gradually increasing localisation by expanding in-house component production and strengthening cooperation with local enterprises was emphasised.

Plans include supplying 30 per cent of the products manufactured to neighbouring countries and increasing annual exports to $50 million.

The President familiarised himself with the production process and the finished machinery.

“Until now, we have imported agricultural machinery from abroad, which affected production costs. Manufacturing modern machinery in Kashkadarya under our own brand to make our farmers’ work easier was once just a dream. Localisation is a logical continuation of our agricultural reforms. We will continue this work consistently,” the President said.
