On April 25, the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held a meeting with Masahiro Aso, Advisor to the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Iizuka and President of Aso Shoji, the press service of the MIIT reports.

During the discussions, both parties emphasized the steady growth of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan.

The participants noted that Japan remains a key and reliable partner for Uzbekistan. They further highlighted that intensifying direct engagement with Japanese business circles and regional organizations creates new opportunities for advancing joint projects, specifically in fostering youth entrepreneurship.

The meeting also addressed the prospects for implementing new investment initiatives with Aso Shoji, establishing business ties with Uzbek enterprises, and exploring opportunities for production localization, technology transfer, and the development of high-value-added projects.
