Ambassador of Uzbekistan Umid Shodiyev met with the leadership of Mubadala Investment Company, one of the leading sovereign investment funds of the United Arab Emirates, the correspondent of Dunyo News Agency reports.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state of investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE and the prospects for its further expansion.
The parties particularly noted the steady development of bilateral relations based on mutual trust and strategic partnership.
The talks focused on deepening investment cooperation in priority sectors of the economy, exploring opportunities for implementing new promising projects, and continuing regular dialogue in these areas.
Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue the joint development of investment projects and the consistent expansion of practical cooperation. They also reached an agreement to organize a visit of representatives of Mubadala Investment Company to Uzbekistan.
