The President visited a plant producing household and automotive chemicals

During a visit to the Chirchik Chemical Industrial Technopark, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the operations of BCG Group OZ, the press service of the head of our state reports.

Household and automotive chemicals are chemicals used in everyday life and vehicle maintenance. Previously, Uzbekistan imported a significant portion of these products, but today, domestic production is rapidly developing.

BCG Group OZ currently produces a wide range of household and automotive chemicals.

The facility, established as part of a $6 million project jointly with a Russian partner, has created more than 80 new jobs.

It manufactures more than 80 types of products, including automotive chemicals and cosmetics, as well as professional detergents and cleaning products for hotels, restaurants, and industry.

Last year alone, production was worth 176 billion soums, with exports amounting to $2.6 million. Import substitution through the facility’s output amounted to $14.7 million.

The quality of the company’s products is confirmed by national and international certifications, including ISO 9001, Halal, and CIS country certifications.

Quality control covers all stages, from raw materials to finished products. The laboratory tests raw materials for compliance with technical requirements, as well as viscosity, pH, density, and product efficiency.

Currently, the company’s products are exported to neighboring countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan.

The company plans to increase its production volume to 294 billion soums.

The head of state noted that such production is of vital importance to the country’s economy.
