The first Uzbek-Chinese forum on cooperation in animal husbandry was held in Chengdu

The China International Livestock Expo was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, the correspondent of Dunyo news agency reports.

As part of the event, the first Uzbek-Chinese forum on cooperation in livestock farming was organized with the assistance of diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan.

The forum was attended by specialists in agriculture and livestock farming from Uzbekistan and China, livestock producers, and representatives of regional khokimiyats (mayors) of our countries.

Participants were informed about ongoing reforms to develop the livestock industry in Uzbekistan, the conditions created for domestic specialists to study international experience, the introduction of modern technologies into the industry, and measures to improve productivity.

The Chinese participants highly praised Uzbekistan’s initiatives in this area, expressed their readiness for cooperation in livestock farming, and expressed interest in investing in the industry in our country.

In particular, Sha Yushen, Secretary General of the National Animal Husbandry Association of China, emphasized that the first-ever forum would serve as an important foundation for developing large-scale cooperation between the two countries in the future.

During the forum, industry experts held G2B and B2B meetings and negotiations, and signed agreements on joint livestock projects.
