Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade held a meeting with a delegation from the American corporation John Deere, led by Vice President for the CIS region

On March 24, Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with a delegation from the American corporation John Deere, led by Peter Sachs, Vice President for the CIS region, the press service of the Ministry reports. The parties discussed the prospects for modernizing the national agro-industrial complex and implementing innovative solutions in agriculture.

The discussions primarily focused on the supply of modern machinery, the development of service infrastructure, and the integration of advanced digital technologies. Participants also examined opportunities to strengthen partnerships with relevant national institutions, attract foreign direct investment, and localize production within the Republic.

Following the negotiations, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to long-term cooperation. They expressed readiness to maintain a constructive dialogue to implement joint projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and environmental sustainability of Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector.
