On August 5, the Uzbekistan–Kazakhstan Business Forum was held in Tashkent as part of the visit of a delegation led by Kazakhstan’s Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, according to the report of the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan; Kanat Sharlapayev, Chairman of the Presidium of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs; heads of government agencies and industry associations; and more than 300 representatives of the business community.
The forum focused on expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, developing industrial cooperation, and increasing export opportunities.
It was noted that bilateral trade between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan reached USD 4.969 billion in 2025, representing an 11.4 percent increase compared with 2024.
More than 100 leading Kazakh companies representing construction, the agro-industrial sector, light industry, mechanical engineering, logistics, healthcare, ICT, and other industries took part in the forum.
As part of the event, negotiations were held between entrepreneurs, during which the participants exchanged views on joint investment projects, industrial cooperation, and the development of new export destinations. The forum became an important platform for establishing new partnerships between entrepreneurs of the two countries and reaching mutually beneficial agreements.
