On March 28, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov met with the Vice Governor of Sichuan Province of China Zuo Yongxiang, the press service of MFA reports.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the issues of expanding cooperation of Uzbekistan with China, in particular with the province of Sichuan. Special attention was paid to the prospects of deepening interregional ties, using the existing significant potential for cooperation in trade, economic, investment, tourism, educational and other spheres.
Mutual interest was expressed in implementing joint projects in the fields of automotive manufacturing, green energy, and smart agriculture.
