Uzbekistan imported 12,000 tons of apples from Iran in the first quarter of the year

In January-March, Uzbekistan imported 16.3 thousand tons of apples from 12 foreign countries in the amount of 6.3 million US dollars.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of apple imports increased by 15.5 thousand tons, or almost 20 times, compared to the corresponding period last year.

At the same time, our country purchased apples from Iran (12 thousand tons), Ukraine (1.4 thousand tons), Moldova (1.2 thousand tons), Poland (1.1 thousand tons) and Turkey (527 tons).
