South Korea implements new promising projects in Uzbekistan

On January 31 of this year, a seminar was held in Tashkent to discuss current cooperation and develop further measures within the framework of the implementation of the Korean Economic Innovation Partnership Program (EIPP) in Uzbekistan, the press service of MIIT reports.

The event was attended by representatives of Eximbank, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in our country, relevant ministries and departments of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as experts from leading consulting companies.

During the seminar, the progress of work carried out within the framework of EIPP projects was presented, including such areas as the production of photovoltaic panels and the creation of an innovative research and production cluster for semiconductor electronics. During the discussion, further practical actions were developed, including the joint development of pre-project documentation for new promising projects.

As a result of the event, the participants determined the format for further interaction and agreed on the Roadmap for bilateral cooperation as part of the implementation of the Program for 2023.
