Uzbek entrepreneurs signed new agreements with companies from Russia’s Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, and Samara Region

With the support of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Association of Small Business and Business Circles visited the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Bashkortostan, and Russia’s Samara Region, the correspondent of Dunyo News Agency reports.

As part of the visit, business forums were held in these Russian regions with the participation of more than 100 Uzbek enterprises and around 200 Russian companies. During the meetings, entrepreneurs discussed opportunities to expand industrial cooperation, localize production, develop exports, and launch new joint projects.

Exhibitions of Uzbek products and bilateral B2B negotiations were also organized for the participants. Following the meetings, Uzbek companies signed export contracts with Russian partners and reached agreements on opening trading houses and implementing joint projects.

Separate cooperation agreements were signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and regional chambers of commerce and industry in Russia. The documents provide for the development of trade and economic relations and the expansion of opportunities for exporting Uzbek products to the Russian market.
