A videoconference was held at the Foreign Ministry yesterday with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (UzEX) Nabihon Samatov and advisers on trade and economic issues of the diplomatic missions of our country abroad.

The event was held as part of the implementation of priority tasks outlined during a videoconference chaired by the President of Uzbekistan on the issues of increasing the volume of trading on the commodity exchange and expanding the participation of local and foreign enterprises in them.

For diplomats, a presentation was organized on the activities of the UzEX, the online trading platform, its infrastructure and prospects for expanding work with the participation of international partners, as well as the favorable conditions created in the republic for foreign brokers.

At the same time, more than 1.2 thousand foreign companies began to exhibit their products on the Uzbek stock exchange.

In this regard, special attention is paid to the issue of enhancing the role of diplomatic institutions abroad in increasing the share of foreign participants on the UZEX platform, as well as inter-exchange transactions.
