On March 27, the Ministry of Transport held another meeting with the construction company CITIC of the People’s Republic of China to discuss projects in the field of construction and reconstruction of highways, the press service of the ministry reports.
The company expressed its desire to participate in the reconstruction of the Pungan-Namangan, Tashkent-Chinaz highways, in the construction of new toll roads, as well as in improving the transport infrastructure of our country.
The Minister of Transport, in turn, emphasized that these roads must be built in a short time using modern technologies that meet international standards. In this case, special attention should be paid to reducing construction costs.
The foreign company said it is studying the projects and will submit project proposals that meet all requirements in the coming days.
