The first Uzbek-Vietnamese business forum was held in Hanoi

March 18-20 this year The delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan B. Saidov had on an official visit to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. This was reported by the press service of CCI.

As part of the visit, on March 19, an Uzbek-Vietnamese business forum and bilateral meetings in B2B format were held with the participation of representatives of the business circles of the two countries.

It was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and departments of the two countries, industrial associations, commercial banks and more than 100 large Vietnamese and Uzbek companies.

Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rasulov took part in the event with his report.

During the forum, current issues of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as measures to develop industrial cooperation were discussed.

As a result of the event, a number of agreements aimed at developing bilateral cooperation were reached between representatives of the business circles of the two countries.

In particular, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam to open a joint Uzbekistan-Vietnam trading house in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
